Terms and Conditions for the #MyLusaka Competition Please read these terms and conditions carefully before participating in the #MyLusaka competition. By entering, you agree to abide by these rules. 1. Competition Overview The #MyLusaka competition is organised by Explore Lusaka to celebrate the beauty and culture of Lusaka. Participants are required to submit photos or videos showcasing their favourite thing about Lusaka by posting on Facebook, Instagram, or Tiktok with the hashtag #MyLusaka and tagging @ExploreLusaka (or @explore.lusaka on instagram). 2. Eligibility The competition is open to all residents of Lusaka, Zambia, aged 16 years and above. Participants must have access to a valid Zambian mobile number to receive prizes via mobile money. Employees of the organiser and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. 3. How to Enter Take a photo or record a video that reflects your favourite thing about Lusaka. Post the photo/video on Facebook, Instagram, or Tiktok. Include the hashtag #MyLusaka in the caption. Tag @ExploreLusaka/@explore.lusaka in the post. Ensure your post is set to public for it to be visible to the organisers. Each participant can submit as many entries as possible. Make sure you are following the Explore Lusaka social media pages. 4. Entry Period The competition begins on 14 December 2024 and ends at 11:59 PM on 31 January 2025. Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered. 5. Judging Criteria The winners will be selected based on Explore Lusaka’s favourite entries, chosen by the organising team. The decision will be based on: - Creativity and originality of the submission. - How well the entry captures the spirit of Lusaka. This is a subjective selection, and the decision of the organising team is final. 6. Prizes 10 Winners: K500 each (sent via mobile money to a valid Zambian number). Prizes are non-transferable and will be sent only to a registered mobile money account. 7. Winner Announcement Winners will be announced on 6 February 2025 via Explore Lusaka’s social media pages. Winners will be contacted through direct messages on the platform used for their entry. If a winner does not respond within 72 hours, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected. 8. Rights and Permissions By entering the competition, participants grant Explore Lusaka the right to use, publish, and display their submitted content for promotional, educational, informational, and other related purposes, with appropriate credit to the creator. Participants affirm that the content submitted is their original work and does not infringe on any copyright or intellectual property rights. 9. Data Privacy Personal information provided (e.g., mobile numbers) will only be used for the purposes of awarding prizes and will not be shared with third parties. 10. Disqualification The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant for: Submitting inappropriate or offensive content. Violating any of these terms and conditions. Using fake likes, shares, or other fraudulent means to influence the competition. 11. General Conditions The organiser reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice. Decisions made by the organiser regarding the competition and its outcomes are final and binding. 12. Liability The organiser is not responsible for: Any technical issues affecting participation or submission. Loss or delay in delivering mobile money due to incorrect details provided by the participant. 13.
